Crisis comes from the Greek word for decision and denotes time when difficult and important decisions are made. My entire career focuses on working with families in crisis. Beginning in the MHMR center, moving to a residential treatment center for children, and ending up in private practice, many of my clients and their families have been in the midst of major life changes. Divorce and separation of families requires a lot of decisions that effect your life long-term. My job in collaborative divorce is to take out the emotions of the moment and to add in long-term intentions to the decision-making process. To do that, the team must acknowledge those emotions, agree on the boundaries, and determine the best options for success. Being a part of facilitating that process energizes me and gives meaning to the process. I can’t wait to work with you and your family!

My education and continuing studies include topics related to children, family dynamics, and trauma recovery. I also run a small private counseling firm in Corinth that includes practitioners specializing in many different types of clients.
